After a long hiatus, J.FitzPatrick returns to Paris for a trunk show! I cannot even recall the last time I did a trunk show in one of my favorite European cities. It has been at least 6 years, as sad as that is! But, that is all behind us now and here I come, onward and upward for another showcasing.
As usual, I will showcase at Mes Chaussettes Rouges in the 15th arrondissement. But instead of being inside their shop, I will be at their new showroom next door dedicated to trunk shows. I am quite excited about this as not only do I love Paris but also I am excited to show how far the J.FitzPatrick brand has come since the last time I showcased there. A lot of changes have occurred, not to mention the quality upgrades I have made since my last trunk show there.
The Details:
Location: Showroom at Mes Chaussettes Rouges, 9 rue Cesar Franck, 15th arrondissement
Date: Friday and Saturday, Sept 22nd and 23rd
Time: Friday – 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday – 11 am to 7pm
RSVP: While you do not need to make an appointment and can just show up, if you want to let me know that you are coming, I would be delighted to hear from you. Please email justin@jfitzpatrickfootwear.com to do so. Merci!
I am excited to see old friends and hopefully meet new ones! And if you have been curious about my shoes or just want to come and say hello, please do so. There is no pressure to make a purchase, but rather see it as an opportunity to just come hang out!
See you all very soon!

Wedding Two: Classic Formal
If your invitation says anything like "formal dress," you're best off sticking with sleek oxfords: Simple silhouette, dark calfskin, and a high shine. Ideal for looking your best without drawing too much attention away from the bride and groom.
Wedding Three: Daytime Or Destination
Brighter settings offer more color choices; if you're attending an outdoor wedding, the odds are good that you can get away with lighter shades of brown and burgundy, and even mix in some more casual textures. This goes double for warmer spots--like beachfront or southern weddings--where you can pair your linen or seersucker suit with rich summer colors.
Wedding Four: Wild Card
Are the bride and groom laid back? Or are you known for being bold? With the right attitude and among the right people, you can wear bright colors, aggressive patterns, or more casual silhouettes. Just make sure to know your audience: You don't want the in-laws to think you're stealing the spotlight!
