Seaview - Dark Copper Museum / Gold Tweed - PRE SALE DISCONTINUED

A balmoral boot is in the heart of J.FitzPatrick design ethos. We started with our denim Wedgwood when we launched the brand and have now evolved to a brogued version in tweed, with rubber soles and more Autumnal vibes.
Our new Seaview in the Dark Copper Museum calf is one that we find offers the perfect medium between smart and casual for the often cold Autumn/Winter months. Adding the double city rubber sole we wanted to give the wearer the ability to take a smart boot into the rugged weather if they needed to. And believe you me, this sole can take it!

We are discontinuing this model and are therefore offering one last chance at purchasing it at a Ready-to-Wear price, with 20% discount offered to wait for its production.

We have allowed for US6, US6.5 and US12.5 to also be purchased at this discounted rate so do take advantage of that size as it would otherwise be an MTO purchase.

These shoes will ship around 4 months after the sale period ends, which is Oct. 1st, 2020. Please expect this product to arrive in early to mid-February 2021.

***Please note that PreSale Orders on Discontinued Models are Non-Refundable, nor Exchangeable as we are only ordering the stock for you and your purchase.***

    • Last LPB
    • Museum Calf (Italy) / Herringbone Tweed (Italy)
    • Hand-Lasted Waist
    • Double City Rubber Sole (Closed Channel)
    • Leather Board heel stiffeners
    • Goodyear Welted
    • Fully Leather Lined
    • Made in Spain

The LPB is our soft chisel last. It is a softened variant of the classic MGF chisel last, with the smoother lines of LPB offering a more conservative and versatile profile.

The LPB is a generous fitting last, making it a good choice for those with broad feet.

    • Generous fit all around
    • Very generous forefoot
    • Voluminous instep
    • Labeled as UK 'E' width (US 'D' equivalent). However, it fits more like a UK 'EX' width (or US 'E' width)
    • Elongated last shape

Keep the same size in what you wear from:

    • Magnanni
    • To Boot New York
    • Loake Capital Last
    • Cheaney F Width
    • The generous Alden lasts (take one size down, e.g., a US10 from Alden is a UK9 in our LPB)

J.FitzPatrick shoes have a broad set of fit options, from true to size, on the slim side to more wide. It will be important to make sure you read about the specific last that you are looking to purchase.

One thing to note across the board is that our loafers have been cut on the snug side, compared to the rest of the models. We did this so that you do not need to 'size down' when going for a loafer, rather recommending you stick to your oxford size (**read exception below)

Here are a few general rules

    • Our insteps would be considered generous
    • All shoes with 6 eyelets will be even more generous in the instep
    • Any model in full suede will feel more generous to its leather counterpart
    • The boots have a forgiving instep in order for you to put them on easily
    • Any monkstrap made on the MGF or LPB will feel more generous to its oxford counterpart
    • If you wear your oxfords very snug, then size up for your loafers. However, for most we recommend taking the same size as your oxfords
