Baker Last
The Baker last is the robust boot last of our JF Line. Similar to the NJF last of our J. FitzPatrick Line, it
is our take on the “bulbous” styles commonly found among classic American and English firms. It has a very round toe shape, but without an overly wide toe box, lending itself to a more casual look in the style of American longwings or English derbies.
The Baker is a classic medium-fitting last:
- Relatively generous forefoot (neither too wide nor too narrow)
- Medium instep
- Good for medium width feet
- Non-elongated last, very shaped to foot length and profile
- Hugging through heel and arch area
