We have reshaped our Wedgwood balmoral boot with a padded leather collar to create a more casual profile, and set it on a commando sole to create a boot that's rugged without sacrificing any of its elegance. Plum marble patina calf offers a versatile and subtly unique color, with a grain finish on the shaft offering a fine texture contrast to the smooth and uninterrupted toebox.

Sitting on our hard-chisel MGF last, this boot cuts an aggressive silhouette that is further emphasized by the commando sole, to keep you looking great and on the move no matter what the weather throws at you.

      Oxford Boots

      Oxford boots inherit the closed-lace style of the oxford shoe, and simply extend it into a boot. The "Wedgwood Redux" further adds a padded collar and a heavy-duty lug sole, to turn the originally dressy oxford boot design into a hard-wearing but still dashing style.

      what it's lasted on:

      MGF Last

      The MGF is our chisel last. A chisel toe is the shape of choice for smart shoes, with its sharp lines resulting in an unrivaled professional and elegant style.
      The MGF is our most generous fitting last, ideal for broad feet:
      -Generous all-around fit
      -Voluminous instep
      -Labeled as UK 'E' width (US 'D' equivalent). However, being generous it is closer to a US D/E fit, falling between the two.
      -Elongated last shape

      what you'll be standing on:

      Commando Sole

      Lug "commando" soles give this monkstrap an exceptionally hardy feel: Note that the sole's ridges are not limited to its interior, but extend all the way to the sole's edge, for a subtler look without compromising function.

      size guidance

      The Wedgwood Redux, on our MGF Last, is a generous and elongated-fitting boot. If you have a slender foot with a lower instep, take a half size down from your normal size. For those with normal to broader feet, stick with your usual size. You will find a generous fit from the mid-foot to the forefoot.
