Beautifully crafted , stylish and comfortable. Nicely priced for a good year welted shoe. Yes great for black tie but would you dare wearing the ballinger out on the town with dress jeans , no see socks and a blazer for evening cocktails and dinner. You wont be disappointed.

A rare 5-year-old Comté is not ‘better’ than a rare old Gruyère cheese, and Parma prosciutto is not ‘better’ than San Daniele. After a certain level of quality, there is no longer any ‘better’. It’s just a slightly decadent whim, depending on what I feel like enjoying today.
The same goes for the J. Fitzpatrick line. They are all wonderful, but right now I am particularly fond of this breathtaking Sunnyside Marble Patina model. Magnificent shoes - Great company.

It’s always good have quality shoe trees. I prefer lasted shoe trees but the quality on these shoes trees is quite good. They fit my shoes very well and from the looks of it fit just as good as lasted trees.
Stylish and comfortable
An essential accessory for pure leather soles. The Streetwalker Sole from the JF line is so robust that it is not absolutely necessary to purchase metal toe taps, although they are not bad in this respect either, but for pure leather soles they are a must! It is absolutely worth the wait (approx. 2-4 weeks) for the cobbler and the 35 euros. Once you've had them, you'll never want to be without them for leather soles.
These shoes are a great suede color, fit perfect, very comfortable loafers.

I purchased a pair of the original Stefano with the triple stitch, which arrived on November 12, 2014, and to this day they remain one of the finest pairs of shoes I have ever owned. They’ve carried me through years of wear and countless miles, yet they still look as sharp and new as the day I unboxed them. By contrast, many of my other dress shoes, worn far less often, already show their age. These, however, are flawless. The craftsmanship is impeccable, the quality is unrivaled, and the design and colors never fail to impress. Every time I wear them, they spark conversation and admiration, always for the right reasons.
What makes the experience even better is that it isn’t just about the shoes. Justin himself is a pleasure to work with, his customer service was excellent back when I purchased these while he was based in London, and it’s clear that the same level of integrity and passion goes into the relationships he builds as it does into the shoes he creates. These aren’t just shoes, they’re a testament to timeless quality and the kind of craftsmanship that speaks for itself.
OK … TBH, I bought my son (last year when he was a college senior) a pair of shoes by Justin that is rather similar — same “no tassel” “Belgian loafer” style, but that shoe had a Goodyear welted leather outsole. It was also a high quality English tweed upper (Holland & Sherry or Fox Bros., I do not recall at the moment). Beautiful shoes and he LOVES them. So, taking a break from the drudgery of work, I open my email and I see these … They are bloody inspirational! That “Belgian” style loafer but with a 1973 Adidas “Stan Smith”/Pro Keds white gummy outsole, but even thicker and better than those were! With this inspired Holland & Sherry tweed upper with royal blue piping! So, given the low inventory, I had to buy a pair for the kid and a pair for ME! lol! Justin’s guide on the sizing of the last was spot-on! We went one-half size down from our “usual” RTW shoe buy size and the fit (especially with the comped insoles provided - Nice!) is perfect for both of us! These shoes are just so cool and so versatile and of such high quality!! Justin’s knowledge of shoes and his dedication to bringing us shoes of the highest quality with supreme “style” is uncanny! These are so versatile, as well! Stunning! Top of the class! I have worn them almost every day since they arrived. As my English friends would say, “These are the bloody dog’s bollocks, man!” Meaning they are just brilliant shoes!!
