Where are your shoes made?
All of our shoes are made in Spain
Are your shoes Goodyear welted?
All of our shoes are Goodyear welted, with the exception of sneaker styles.
What materials are your shoes made from?
Most of our shoes are made from calfskin or suede. Some styles may include fabric such as tweed or canvas. Occasional special styles are made from exotic leathers such as python, lizard, or crocodile. Please reference a specific shoe's "model details," on the shoe's product page, for the fullest information about that shoe's materials.
Where are your leathers sourced from?
All of our calfskins and suedes come from Europe, but specific nation of origin depends on the collection of the shoe in question (JF Line vs. J.FitzPatrick Line), as well as the color of the leather in question. Please reference a specific shoe's "model details," on the shoe's product page, for the fullest information about that shoe's materials and their origins.
What differentiates the JF Line and J.FitzPatrick collections?
Briefly put, the JF Line is our "economic" line characterized by simpler designs and finishing details. Please see here for a full explanation of the differences between the two collections.

ORDERING/RETURNS
Can I return a pair of shoes if it doesn't fit?
Yes, provided that the pair is in resellable condition. To ensure that any pairs returned to us are accepted as refundable, we recommend you try on your new pairs on carpeted floors, and minimize the length of time spent trying them on. There are a few exceptions to this: Made-to-order or group-made-to-order pairs are not returnable or exchangeable under any circumstances. Ready-to-wear pairs with hardware changes (such as toe taps, rubber sole guards, etc.) are not returnable or exchangeable. Ready-to-wear pairs with mirror shines are accepted as returns/exchanges, but tht
