Note From The Founder

The vision for the Snoqualmie boot was to create a stylish yet practical alpine boot specifically designed for the urban environment, rather than rugged hiking trails. I wanted to offer a solution for city dwellers facing winter weather, providing a boot that is both functional and sophisticated enough to complement both tailored and casual outfits.

To achieve this, I constructed the Snoqualmie boot on our dress shoe last (the TMG last) and refined its profile. By pairing it with a sleek commando sole, the result is a boot that offers both practicality and a smart aesthetic, making it versatile enough for dressier occasions or everyday wear.

City Hiker Boot

Inspired by alpine mountaineering boots, our city hiker boots are made with rugged visible hardware, tough lug soles, and padded collars, while being constructed ade on dress shoe lasts for more everyday-wearable silhouettes.

TMG Last

The TMG is our smart round last. Its subtle shape ensures an elegant look on any style of shoe, and its versatility enables you to wear it anywhere from the boardroom to date night.

The TMG is a classic medium-fitting last:
-Standard forefoot
-Semi-voluminous instep
-Good for medium to broad feet
-Non-elongated last

Commando Sole

Lug "commando" soles give this monkstrap an exceptionally hardy feel: Note that the sole's ridges are not limited to its interior, but extend all the way to the sole's edge, for a subtler look without compromising function.

Size Guidance

The Snoqualmie, on our TMG last, is a very standard fitting boot. We recommend you stick with your standard size. The instep is semi-generous, so if you have a slender foot, you will want to half-size down or wear a thicker sock in your standard size. Due to the wholecut nature of the boot, the leather gives quite quickly, and you gain about ¼ of size. We still recommend sticking to your standard fit and allowing that break-in, to give you room for a thicker sock in the colder months. Broader feet will also fit in their standard size.
