what the style is:

Tarsal Brogue Oxford

Tarsal brogues are variations on the classic cap toe oxford: An additional strip of leather is used in the pattern of the shoe, roughly above the tarsal bones of your foot. This design lends itself wonderfully to spectator styles, as the large number of panels offer many opportunities for contrasting colors or materials.

Our "Phillips" tarsal brogue is a dashing example of just that: Notice not just the obvious contrasting tarsal panel, but also the handsome effect of the adelaide piece extending up from the laces and around the opening of the shoe.

what it's lasted on:

LPB Last

The LPB is our soft chisel last. It is a softened variant of the classic MGF chisel last, with the smoother lines of LPB offering a more conservative and versatile profile.
The LPB is a generous fitting last, making it a good choice for those with broad feet.
-Generous fit all around
-Very generous forefoot
-Voluminous instep
-Labeled as UK 'E' width (US 'D' equivalent). However, being generous it is closer to a D/E fit, falling between the two.
-Elongated last shape

Keep the same size in what you wear from:
-Magnanni
-To Boot New York
-The generous Alden lasts
-Carmina Rain

what you'll be standing on:

Leather Sole (Closed Channel)

Single leather soles are our most handsome sole option. A subtle profile combines with tastefully pitched heels, beveled waists, and closed-channel stitching to ensure an elegant look, while seven brass nails in the toe improve longevity.
