Nothing is tougher than a pair of jumper boots, but you still want to be able to wear them with your favorite suits. Enter the "Columbia Redux," our latest rendition of the jumper boot: Our semi-bulbous "Baker" last gives this model the classic jumper boot silhouette, while fine leathers punctuated by clean lines render the boot subtle enough to be worn with tailoring or denim, with equal ease.

The Columbia Redux adds a heel counter to our earlier Columbia model, and features contrasting, textured leathers. The removal of the storm welt makes for a slimmer look; but still sitting on our studded Country Rubber Sole, this remains a boot that can take a real beating!

This Columbia Redux in a Dark Oak Calf / Dark Oak Grain combo will pair easily with just about any color, but we'd most recommend it with an indigo denim for casual wear, or a mid-grey wool trouser for a more formal outfit.

    what the style is:

    Cap Toe Derby Boot

    Identified by its separate "cap" piece drawn across the toebox, and its open lacing structure, the cap toe derby boot is a timeless casual style best worn with denim.

    what it's lasted on:

    Baker Last

    The Baker last is the robust boot last of our JF Line. Similar to the NJF last of our J.FitzPatrick Line, it is our take on the “bulbous” styles commonly found among classic American and English firms. It has a very round toe shape, but without an overly wide toe box, lending itself to a more casual look in the style of American longwings or English derbies.

     The Baker is a classic medium-fitting last:
    -Relatively generous forefoot (neither too wide nor too narrow)
    -Medium instep
    -Good for medium-width feet
    -Non-elongated last, very shaped to the foot length and profile
    -Hugging through heel and arch area

    what you'll be standing on:

    Studded Rubber Sole

    The studded sole is an open channel rubber sole with rubber "studs" placed throughout. It is a robust and weather-resistant option that pulls back just shy of the more aggressive "commando" soles seen on our other boots.

    size guidance

    The Columbia Redux offers a standard fit in length, with a generous toe box able to accommodate a broad foot. However it is not a ‘large’ fit, so we do not recommend sizing down unless you have quite a narrow foot. We suggest you take your standard size for a medium to broad foot. If you are a true wide, we suggest you size up.
