My second pair of Palacios. Beautiful shoes. As always, the price-performance ratio is impeccable. I can only recommend that everyone follow the advice on the website and buy half a size smaller for this model if you prefer a well-fitting Oxford. This last is a dream when it fits well. I will now wear my first pair with thick socks in winter. But there's nothing like a pair of good, attractive Oxfords that fit your feet like a glove. It takes about a working day to break them in. After a week, they feel like socks you slip on. You won't want to take your shoes off anymore.
These are excellent shoes that goes with your every day clothing. I receive compliments every time Iw ear them.

Wow! I must applaud the craftmanship of these beautiful Chelsea boots. These marked my first purchase from J. Fitzpatrick and I couldn't be more impressed. For over a decade now, I've religiously worn Saint Laurent's Wyatt Chelseas, but I think these are superior in quality for a list of reasons. I will certainly be making future purchases from JF, but in the meantime, I'm going to thoroughly enjoy how incredibly well my Alki Chelseas complement my suits in the office and on the streets of NYC!
Something with the design is off with this boot.
Makes your feet look like you have tumors bulging at the top near the ankle. The fake spray on patina further cheapens the look.
Just a cool pair of summer shoes. Fits well, feels comfortable, and looks good. Heeded the sizing guidance and it worked well.

First off I am a big fa of blue shoes, these are of excellent quality and the style has clean and sharp. This are the 3rd. pair i have purcahsed, and will conyinue to enjoy shopping on the J. Fitzpatrick website.
Been wearing these shoes for about a month now. So far very happy with the quality, fit and comfort. Comfortable out the box, virtually no break in period! Will try a leather pair next time to see how they compare with the Suede ones.
The coolest most distinctive boot I've owned. To be so unique, it's pretty versatile, as I've worn it with dark jeans and with a suit. Probably a good first step into some of the more fashionable and unique shoes available.

My fourth pair of shoes from J. Fitzpatrick, these Chelsea’s in black calf are truly exceptional.
I’ve been in the lookout for a a sleek, dressier Chelsea for some time as I find many are just too heavy looking. Not the case with the Alki. The whole cut nature of the shoe means there’s no side seam. The Coke bottle inspired elastic gore gives it a distinctive detail alongside finishing touches such as the seven nails in the sole. The leather is buttery soft. The whole construction is a tribute to considered craftsmanship. JF shoes never disappoint!
Attractive and comfortable from first step. Per instructions in the info section, I sized down ½ size and experimented with the exchange insoles to maximize fit and comfort and it was perfect. Strongly recommend this shoemaker as all 3 of my pairs have been stylish, good looking and very comfortable and read the blog, it is full of useful information.
Rugged, yet still stylish and comfortable. Not a typical boot design. Looking forward to the fall when I can really live with them, but enjoying them so far.

I actually have all four pairs. I didn't heed Justin's caveat that they run a bit large and I ordered my normal shoe size. Even with the inserts (a great addition), they wear loose. So I ordered the other three colors and followed the recommendation to go a half size smaller. Two fit fine with the inserts but one pair still wears loose even with the inserts. I'm keeping them all since I can wear a thick ankle sock to make up the difference. They're great looking. And there's a bonus....I'm 6ft 1in but people are telling me I seem taller! I recommend them but follow the sizing advice.
Even the nicest black oxfords are usually hard to pair with both dressy and smart casual looks; this unique pairing of a lug sole with the traditional oxford upper fulfills this need.
I can imagine wearing these with black denim or flannel slacks and feeling confident either way!
Regarding sizing, I have the strange combination of high arches and pronated ankles, but my standard brannock 9.5 seems like the best fit (you be the judge based on pics). The last is more forgiving than that of a loafer (as it should be), but maintains solid heel and arch support. My left foot is slightly more pronated than the right, but I experience no heel slip when the shoes are laced without excessive tightness.
I don't recommend sizing down from your brannock size unless you have very low-volume feet. Consider how your feet may swell after a few drinks or a summer stroll!
To me, this shoe is normally sized, but the last is designed to accommodate more physical activity than most non-sneaker shoes.
